Telephonic and Face-to-Face Services
In addition to these web-based services, your EAP provides responsive,
caring and effective telephonic and face-to-face counseling to help
balance your personal and professional life. EAP counseling services are
provided in a counselor's private office or telephonically, depending

Confidential:
What goes on between you and your counselor is strictly confidential.
Your employer will not be informed of your participation. Information
will only be released with your permission, or as required by law for
child or elder abuse, or in a life-threatening situation. Read more

Comprehensive:
You are eligible for several sessions per incident. Call us to find out
your exact benefits. When you need additional services, Horizon works in
conjunction with your mental health benefits through your health plan or
provides community resources as needed to ensure that you are able to
resolve your particular issue. The EAP is in addition to any mental
health benefits you may have through your health plan. All EAP
counselors are qualified mental health professionals. If for any reason
you do not feel comfortable with your counselor, please let us know that
so we can reschedule you with someone else. It is very important to
Horizon that you feel comfortable with your counselor.
Cost Free:
This is a prepaid benefit purchased by your employer, so there is no
charge when using the EAP service.
Accessible:
The EAP staff is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for
counseling, consultation, appointment scheduling, and referrals.

WorkLife consultant researches your WorkLife concern to identify the
most appropriate resources for addressing your concern. Referrals also
include information regarding available services, fees, checklists and
tip sheets are delivered to you via e-mail, fax or priority mail,
depending upon your preference. You simply access your WorkLife benefit
by calling the toll free telephone number to speak with a WorkLife
consultant, or access resources by clicking through this website.
