The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension (UNCE) offers educational programs to residents of Pershing County. We're the outreach college for the University of Nevada Reno that brings you information to solve problems and deal with critical issues. Please contact our Extension Educator, Steve Foster, for information concerning the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension programs offered in Pershing County.
The UNCE Pershing County office has an active 4-H program which promotes life skills development. 4-H participants are all youth, ages 5 to 19, taking part in volunteer led projects. 4-H Camp, Breeding and Market Livestock Clubs, Dog Care and Obedience, Ball Clubs, Martial Arts Club, and Shooting Sports are all 4-H projects currently being offered in Pershing County. Whether you are a youth interested in joining one of these clubs or an adult interested in volunteering, please contact our Community Based Instructor, Marianne Papa for more information.
While you are on this page, please take a minute to check out our calendar for information on upcoming UNCE meetings and events happening in the Pershing County area as well as throughout the state.
