Marzen House Museum
Written by Heidi Lusby
Built in 1874, this two-story house features mining and agriculture equipment, home fixtures, Native American artifacts and an Indian Cave exhibit. There are replicas of the Tule Duck Decoys, which were found in the Lovelock Cave. Most items in the museum relate directly to Pershing County and its residents.
If you are at the museum during our off hours, there are a few phone numbers listed on the door that you can call for assistance. Sometimes you might get lucky and a volunteer may be available to show you around. Or, please call Heidi Lusby at the Community Center, 775-273-7144, (8-5, M-F) for more information. Thank you!
