Emergency Operations Management

The Emergency Manager promotes and administers Pershing County's emergency management program with emphasis on planning, preparation, conducting exercises, grant administration, and responding to and mitigating natural and man-made emergencies. The Emergency Manager also leads the Local Emergency Planning Committee and oversees the Emergency Operations Center.
